"For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me. "
Matthew 25:35
The Suburban Christian Church Food Pantry began in 2011. The Food Pantry seeks to serve our community by meeting some of the physical needs, providing prayer support and utilizing every opportunity to share the gospel. The Food Pantry is stocked by frequent attenders of Suburban Christian Church. Volunteers are welcome to serve and must be a current attender of Suburban Christian Church. If you are interested in volunteering for the Food Pantry, please see Amie Mitchell or fill out our connection card on the website.
When and Where?
The Food Pantry is open on the first and third Tuesday of each month from 12:30pm - 2:00pm. It is located at Suburban Christian Church, 5132 Bellamy Manor Drive, Virginia Beach, VA 23464
Who?
Anyone with a valid picture ID (or library card) is welcomed to use the Food Pantry. Please know the valid picture ID is for documentation purposes only. Suburban would like to remain aware of the number of families helped each month.
What?
A Food Pantry volunteer will provide a previously packed brown bag with a variety of food items. Occasionally, the volunteer will also have other personal items available. We do not provide monetary assistance at this time.
