Project Lucas

We help Kenyan children and families living in extreme poverty by sharing the Gospel with them while meeting their needs, equipping them with education, and investing in their communities. By doing this by we provide them with Christ-centered hope, physical nourishment and support, and educational opportunities, that they otherwise may not have. We have seen the lives of thousands of Kenyans transformed through God's work in our ministry, and hope to see many more lives changed.

Pastor Dayanand (Nandu) & Swarnalatha Nelapaty (India)

Pastor Dayanand (Nandu) Nelapaty and his wife, Swarnalatha, are active missionaries in their home country of India.  Pastor Nandu is the Senior Pastor of Faith Baptist Church in Hyderabad, India.  They lead several discipleship programs to train up leaders within their church and join them in their greater outreach to their city and surrounding areas.

Pastor Nandu regularly travels far out into the country ministering to tribal and nomadic groups that live in the mountains and jungles of his state that have previously been unreached with the gospel.  He has been instrumental in evangelizing, discipling and training up men from within the Koya and Banjara tribes who are now actively pastoring their own people.

Mrs. Swarnalatha supports her husband in these efforts and has organized many women's retreats for the ladies of these tribes in order to teach and train them in the gospel message.

Young Life (Virginia Beach)

 Young Life

Young Life starts with adults who are concerned about kids to go to them on their turf and in their culture, building bridges of friendship. These relationships take time, patience, trust and consistency. Young Life leaders spend many hours with kids where they are. Leaders listen to their stories and learn what’s important to them because they care about the kids joys, triumphs, heartaches and setbacks. Young Life believes kids’ lives are dramatically impacted when caring adults come alongside sharing God’s love with them. Kid’s choices made today based on God’s love for them will impact future decisions affecting careers, marriages and families.
