Sunday School

Sundays 9:00am

Presenting Christ alone as Lord and Savior,
Where there is opportunity for everyone
To learn and grow, To serve,
In a full and rewarding experience in Christ.

What is a “disciple”?  Someone who knows and loves and follows his Master.  In Sunday school we seek to become disciples by knowing God better through the study of His Word, by loving Him more because He first loved us, and by following Him in our everyday lives.  We do this by learning Who He is, what He desires and by experiencing His power to transform our lives.  We offer classes for every age group with age-appropriate studies rooted in Biblical truth, taught by teachers who are passionate about their own relationship with Jesus.  Our desire is that every student knows Jesus personally and follows Him whole-heartedly.
The mission of Suburban Christian Church Sunday School is to honor Jesus Christ by providing a program of scripture study and training in orthodox Christian beliefs.  Through an organized structure of age-grouped classes a firm foundation in basic Christian doctrine, history, values and beliefs, scripture studies focus on the Gospel message of salvation along with building and strengthening a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

We are studying “The Gospel Project”, which takes us through the storyline of Scripture in three years. From the book of Genesis to the book of Revelation, we will see that God’s Word is one grand narrative telling that story of man’s sin, God’s love, and our redemption through Jesus.
